5Quick and EZ for real
By Robin Arora
InStep Quick N EZ Double Bicycle TrailerAfter a long search i settled on the Quick N EZ Double Bicycle Trailer from InStep. Packaging was good. Assembly took me around 20 minutes as most of the trailer is pre assembled. No assembly tool required. We just need to lift up the side rails, slide in the tires, bring the tow forward. Installing the connector on the bike took another 10 minutes. I have Shwinn S25.The only thing missing on my trailer was the desired psi of the tires as they come deflated. As per the manual there should be psi ratings on the tires side. I guess the sticker was missing on the ones that i got. Anyways, i just went online and looked at the various instep manuals. Desired air pressure on the tires is 20-25psi and 25psi is recommended for a smooth ride. After i assembled i took it for a ride with my son (he is 27 months old). Pulling this trailer is easy and smooth. Since its double trailer, it has three seat belt options. If you are riding with one kid, you have to use the one in the center. If you have two kids in the trailer, you can use the two side seat-belts which really helps to balance the trailer. It comes with a handle bar and front tire attachment to use it as a jogging stroller. Its a good option, especially with the brake system but i don't need it at present.I will rate this trailer 5 stars because of strong build and quality.

4Great as a bike trailer, not too great as a stroller!
By IT Dad
We got this stroller for our 4 year old and his little sister. The first night we got it, I assembled it with ease. The instructions were very easy to follow and the whole assembly seemed very sturdy. My 4 year old son was ecstatic! He wanted to go out for a bike ride immediately even though it was already dark outside. From 7am the next morning until he got back from school at 10:30 am, it was non stop "when are we going to ride the bike?!" That afternoon, I hooked up the trailer and put the kids in it and off we went. I was amazed that with the combined weight of the kiddos and the trailer itself I was able to pedal around easily! Both kids thought it was so much fun. Apparently, being encased in plastic and vinyl and towed behind a bicycle is the epitome of cute because every time we passed by anyone on the street or in their yard it was "Awwwww..." or "so cute..." or "how sweet...!"Later in the month, though, we needed to use it as a stroller. I unhitched the trailer from my bike and attached the included front wheel. We loaded the kids up and were off. When we put the slightest bit of weight on the front wheel, however; the PLASTIC bracket twisted and cracked! I had to spend the rest of the time balancing the thing on the back two wheels. I would return it, but I'd just get another one with another PLASTIC bracket! My father in law has an arc welder and I'm taking it to him to get a METAL bracket installed. If you use this product for a bike trailer, it's great! But beware; if you use the stroller option, either get a metal bracket for it or DO NOT put ANY weight on the front wheel!

3Not for mountain bikes
By momof3boys
Do not make the mistake I did and purchase this without first checking to make sure that it will fit your bike. Duh! I have a Trek mountain bike and was all set for my first ride when I discovered that it would not hitch to the back. I called the company and they explained that it will not likely work with most mountain bikes (he gave a very good technical reason and it made sense at the time). If you are an avid bike rider you may already know this. I am not. Returning the trailer would have meant that I would have had to take it apart, box it back up, pay for the shipping and then an additional 15% restocking fee. I ended up keeping the trailer and purchasing an inexpensive schwinn cruiser instead. We have been using the trailer regularly for about 2 months now. I wanted to make sure that I used it for a while before commenting.Pros:* Very easy to assemble, directions were very clear* Materials appear to be good quality, durable* Easy to attach to the bike (assuming of course you have the right kind of bike ;-)* Handles well. I am riding mostly on paved surfaces in our neighborhood and on paved trails in our community. I haven't ridden on any unpaved surfaces however it seems like it would still be a smooth ride* I like the back storage. Just enough room to put a cooler, drinks, etc.* I like the options of being able to have the screens up or down* Since it is a double bike trailer it is nice to have the additional option of having two children along for the ride* I have not yet used the stroller feature however this seems like an added bonusCons:* Only one but it's a big one. As other reviewers have commented, the bottom does sag when two children are in it, and yes I did try and adjust the strap on the bottom. That didn't seem to help too much. Granted, I am carrying a 1 year old and a 3 year old (not two babies) but it seems like a better design would be to have something more firm for the kids to sit on in order to keep them seated in a more upright position. I am not worried so much about them hitting the ground with their bottoms but the the sag causes the two of them to kind of slump into each other which based on the occasional groaning I hear from the rear, it does seem to be annoying to them both. My 1 year old much prefers to be by himself when we go for a ride and does give me "a look" when his brother starts to climb in next to him. This is a non-issue when only one child is seated in the trailer (even the heavier 3 year old). I am not sure if this is the case with ALL double bike trailers or if this is one of those instances where "you get what you pay for."In retrospect, if I knew then what I know now, this is what I would have done differently. ATTENTION NEW PARENTS AND PARENTS TO BE!! If you plan on having more than one child, rather then spending a gazillion dollars on all the different equipment out there, bike trailers, double strollers, jogging strollers, etc. I would spend the money on one REALLY good bike trailer that also converts to a double jogging stroller. Seems like you'd be killing two birds with one stone and I really do think you'd be saving money in the end. This is not the trailer I would recommend doing that with, however for my purposes, this was fine.
