I normally don't write reviews but they help me in making purchases so maybe it helps you.Pros:Fast (20mph)Steering wheel controllerDurableInexpensiveCon:Recharge time takes 30 minutes and drives for 5 minutes before going completely dead.Consider this as this is huge in RC play. 6AA batteries in controller. Recharging car every 5 minutes = wasted $$$ on batteries & a lot of wasted time watching a what could be fun toy charge.Yes, all the Pro Reviews on this RC is true but who cares about performance that's only 5 minutes!V/R

Fast and Cool!

Got this for my nephew for his birthday, it was a huge hit! Boy does this thing go fast! The self-righting technology is pretty cool too, if the car flips, the roll bar flexes a little and bounces the car back upright!I wish we had two of them to race, the kids really enjoyed taking turns and setting up jumps to see how much air they could get with this thing. I was impressed with the distance the controller could go too. You really want to have a big space to race this around for maximum effect.RC cars have improved so much since I was a kid, I couldn't believe the range and speed on this toy.

Don't buy this toy. 6 batteries in. Connected car to remote control/charger. Charged the required time. Then, after ALL that time charging...waiting to race it...it says (via the flashing battery light on the remote control/charger) that it needs new batteries (i.e. MORE batteries!). Um, I don't think so. WHO makes these toys...and THINKS that parents have the $$$$ to buy a infinite pile of batteries? This toy is not WORTH the HYPE...the WAITING...nor all the BATTERIES it wants you to buy to make it run... Now I have a disappointed child who earned this with a GOOD report card. Steer your child the opposite direction from this in the toy aisle...RUN! VERDICT: Do NOT BUY!
