Cars need to be pushed

I have shopped with Amazon for years and have never returned an item until now. I bought this set for my son and after 10 minutes he was so frustrated that he simply gave up. There are two cars and they rarely make it around the turns without manually pushing them. Occasionally if you have the EXACT speed and momentum the cars might make it around the turn but if you go too fast they fall off the track. I had two different neighbor kids come over to try it out and both were disappointed. It's just not any fun. Hopefully I will find another track that my son will enjoy.

Awesome set

Old Saint Nick wasn't exactly sure what to bring my boys this year and then he came across these Carrera slot car sets. We got one in Cars and one in Avengers. The boys will go crazy, my husband already has. They are fun, pretty easy to put together and a lot better than having hot wheel tracks that break or have a million tiny pieces. These are good sized. They were both shipped incredibly fast and in perfect condition.

I never ever write reviews and this is my first one but I had to because the Carrera Racing System we got for Christmas for our 4 year old was the crappiest toy I've ever seen. Don't toys have to be approved to make sure they work. First of all getting the flimsy track together is a pain in the butt. My husband who assembles tons of toys for our boy was frustrated and amazed at how poorly it was constructed. The rails that you have around the track have to be manually put on (around 10 of them) and they come off after 1-2 race. Then you have to put props beneath the tracks to keep the tracks a certain way and these props are so crappy they pop right out if you even touch the track, definitely prop out after a race or two. The race itself is horrible. If you try 10 times it may go around the track in full circle once or twice~~~it doesn't race just stops So you spend another 15 minutes trying to fix everything to get it to work and then another disappointing minute to see the race not work. It is the WORST toy we've ever seen and I'm just going to dump it in the trash because it's just clutter. I would never buy another CARRERA RACING SYSTEM. PLEASE DON'T BUY~~I WOULDN'T EVEN KEEP IT IF IT WAS GIVEN TO ME FOR FREE.
