Not so good.

I bought this because I had a cool gyroscope as a kid, and though this would be fun for a friends kid. This thing is not so quality.You're supposed to get the thing spinning, and then flick your wrist to make the top fall to the ground and spin. This always, ALWAYS, ends in this top smashing into the floor on it's side with a loud bang, never on it's spindle.Couldn't keep a 5 year old's attention for more than 20 seconds.

A toy for mommy

Not knowing what to get her mother, this toy was chosen as an alternative to another sweater, pants, or earrings. It stole the show. All the kids were after it, so Mommy had to wait her turn. It's nothing fancy, but it sure held the attention of a 1 year old with the flashing colors.

Even the grownups wanted to play with this!

I bought this for a 6 year old girl, but the grownups played with it almost as much. It isn't something you play with constantly, but pick up once in a while and play around with. It's colorful and mesmerizing! Very good quality, no filmsy wires. And it comes with the battery protected by a pull tab.
